Come on down to Olde Town September 8 - 10, 2023 for the Olde Town Shindig: An Arts and Music Festival, in conjunction with the Third Annual Rocky Mountain Archtop Guitar Festival. This family fun event will feature artisan vendors, live music, a mural competition with local artists, a kids zone, food trucks, adult libations throughout the entire event, and much more! This event is FREE for the public all weekend.

About the Competition:
We've brought together 20 talented artists from Colorado and beyond to create stunning murals right before your eyes. But there's more! They're competing for the People's Choice and Judge's Choice awards.
People's Choice: Your Vote Matters!
We invite you to be a part of the action by voting for your favorite artist. It's easy – just visit our auction site and cast your votes at $1 each. You can vote for as many artists as you like! Physical voting tickets are also available at the Olde Town Arvada info booth which will be located outside of Sock.. The artists with the most votes will win cash prizes:
1st Place: $2,500
2nd Place: $1,300
3rd Place: $1,000
Judge's Choice:
A distinguished panel of judges from the Olde Town Arvada BID, the Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities, and the Arvada Arts and Culture Commission will select the Judge's Choice winner. The lucky artist will receive a commission of up to $10,000 to collaborate with an Olde Town business on a mural installation.
Winners Announcement:
Join us in Olde Town Square on Saturday at 7:30pm as we reveal the competition winners. It's going to be a night of celebration and creativity!
About the Auction:
Don't miss your chance to own a piece of this incredible art! All murals will be auctioned, with proceeds benefiting both the artists and the Olde Town Arvada BID. The auction kicks off on Friday, and we'll regularly update you with pictures of the murals. You can admire them in person until Sunday at 1:00pm and the auction will close at midnight.

Where: Olde Town Square
To join the fun, you must be 18 years old and have your ID ready on the big day. The contest has limited spots, so be sure to fill out the application and waiver below to secure your spot as one of the first 12 contestants.

Get ready to showcase your strength at the Olde Town Shindig Frozen T-Shirt Contest sponsored by Scrumptious!
What's the challenge? Participants will receive a wadded-up frozen t-shirt and must break it apart and put it on as fast as possible to claim victory! The winner of this icy showdown will be rewarded with FREE ice cream for an entire year!
